Powers and Duties

Igor Datsenko coordinates the work of the executive bodies and local government divisions and issues instructions in the following areas:

- effective interaction with public associations, including political parties, movements, national and cultural autonomies, religious organizations, and other institutions of civil society in the region;

- implementation of the state national policy in the territory of the region;

- supporting the activities of the Vologda Region Public Chamber;

- development of measures for the implementation of state support for public associations, socially oriented non-profit organizations, national cultural autonomies, including participation in the development and implementation of regional programs of state support, preservation and development of languages and culture of the peoples of the Russian Federation living in the Vologda Region, the implementation of other measures aimed at strengthening civil unity, interethnic and interfaith harmony, preservation of the ethnocultural diversity of the peoples of the Russian Federation living in the Vologda Region, protection of the rights of indigenous peoples and other national minorities, social and cultural adaptation of migrants, prevention of interethnic (interethnic) conflicts and ensuring interethnic and interfaith harmony.
