The State Holiday of the Russian Federation, Russia Day is celebrated on June 12. The national Russian holiday has been celebrated since 1992.

This holiday is a symbol of national unity and common responsibility for present and future of our Motherland. Russia is a powerful country with a long history, rich culture, scientific and military potential and strong economic positions.

The Vologda Region will celebrate Russia Day with a number of festive events - a festival of historical reconstruction, concerts, exhibitions, performances and flesh mobs.
