Vologda Region and Belarus will launch a machine-building cluster.

The machine-building cluster will be established at the Cherepovets Founding and Mechanical Plant. The top leadership of the Minsk Tractor Works and the Minsk Automobile Works will arrive in the Vologda Region on August 5.

Vologda Oblast Governor Mr. Kuvshinnikov stressed that the Vologda Region is interested in creating a machine-building cluster using the facilities of Cherepovets’ plants. It will allow increasing production of tractors, and the vehicles will be supplied to enterprises of agricultural, forestry and municipal sectors.

Alexander Morozov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and other key-ranking officials will arrive in Cherepovets, the Vologda Region on this occasion.
