Vologda Oblast will develop business ties with Italy.

Vologda Region Centre of Entrepreneurship Support organized a business trip of Vologda’s experts to Trieste, a city and seaport in northeastern Italy. It is the capital of the autonomous region Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the Province of Trieste.

On a visit to Italy, the delegation from Vologda met with Mr. Sergio Bolzonello, Vice President of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

The business trip allowed representatives of Vologda Oblast, a wood producing region, to establish business partnership links with Italian companies, to exchange experiences and to promote the Vologda producers in the Italian market.

The Italian companies got interested in cardboard products of Sukhona pulp and paper plant that might be soon delivered to Italy.
