Library Night in Vologda will take place on April 26.

On April 26 concerts, lectures and workshops will be held on Library Night. It will be devoted to the 80th anniversary of Great Victory.

Library Night is held in all Russian regions on an annual basis. This is when libraries and art spaces open their doors to visitors in the night time. This day is an opportunity for people to celebrate the valuable role that libraries play in their lives. 

The project includes numerous events held at Vologda’s libraries - concerts, literary quests, workshops, musical performances and lectures. On April 26, libraries across the country will turn into sites of memory and hero worship. The program includes events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

All activities will be connected with the magic of books, music and creativity. The city’s libraries invite everyone in Vologda for cultural exchange.
