Ded Moroz Train is to arrive in Vologda tomorrow.

In 2024, the Ded Moroz Train set off for a New Year journey on November 19. The train stopped at Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Chita, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Moscow and St. Petersburg and other cities.

The New Year project “Ded Moroz Train” is being implemented by Russian Railways together with the regional administration. Holiday spirit abounds aboard the train, where one can enjoy favourite New Year and Christmas tunes and cheerful decor. The Ded Moroz Train is a relaxed affair for guests of all ages. Each child also gets a special gift from Ded Moroz’s own toy bag.

Ded Moroz in his mobile residence travelled to Russian cities, congratulated children, fulfilled their wishes. In every city where the Ded Moroz Train made a stop, visitors to the stations enjoyed an entertaining festive program with the participation of artists and animators.

The Ded Moroz Train consists of several decorated wagons. Some of them are occupied by technical staff and an animation team. It also includes a residence car of Ded Moroz with a bedroom, two dining cars and a gift shop where one can buy souvenirs or send a letter to Russia's chief magician.

In 2024 Ded Moroz stopped in over 60 Russian cities. Everyone could hop on the magical express and feel the spirit of the holiday on the Ded Moroz Train.
