Business mission of Vologda’s delegation to Copenhagen, Denmark.

On April 14-16, a delegation from Vologda led by Deputy Governor Alexei Kozhevnikov will visit Copenhagen on a business mission. The visit is organised by the Department of Economic Development of the Vologda Oblast Government with an active backing of the RF Trade Representation in the Kingdom of Denmark.
The main objective of the business mission is to establish and develop cooperation between the Vologda Oblast and Denmark in the sphere of agriculture. Among the participants of Vologda’s delegation there are experts of the Department of Agriculture and Food Stocks, Department of Economic Development and representatives of agribusiness enterprises.
Vologda’s delegation is expected to visit such Danish companies as Scanova A/S that is engaged in delivery of cattle, equipment and products for livestock and Foss A/S that develops, manufactures, and sells analytical instruments and solutions to companies and mid-size and smaller businesses of agricultural, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries in Denmark and internationally.
In the Russian Trade Representation in Denmark, Vologda’s experts and their Danish counterparts are planning to hold a round table discussion devoted to investment cooperation in agribusiness. A presentation of economic potential of the Vologda Region, its agricultural complex and investment projects will be held within the framework of the round table discussion. The development of mutual relations in the field of agriculture between Denmark and the Vologda Region will be the emphasis of the discussion.
The visit to Copenhagen will wound up with signing of a Memorandum of cooperation in agribusiness between the Vologda Region Development Corporation and Danish Farmers Abroad, an association of large international agricultural companies, suppliers of agricultural equipment and production means.
On April 16th, Vologda’s Deputy Governor Mr. Kozhevnikov will meet with Deputy Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Germany Mr. Sevastyanov to define guidelines for further investment collaboration between the Vologda Oblast and Germany.
