The festival is organised by the Vologda Archdiocese and Vologda City Administration.

The Cultural Capitals competition began in 2023 and annually takes place in Russia. During the event, a prestigious title is awarded to one city in the country by a panel of experts. Cities with at least 250,000 inhabitants are invited to participate.

The festival has been staged in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum for several years. This festival is one of the most spectacular summer events in Kirillov. Clubs from different Russian cities will take part in it.

The Victory Dictation campaign is an international event that will take place in Russian cities and in many European and CIS countries.

Night of Museums is an international event which annually is celebrated in Europe and America and dedicated to International Museum Day.
