Proposals of Vologda's Governor made at a meeting of the State Council Presidium meeting are reflected in the federal act.

The Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov participated in Russia’s State Council Presidium meeting on strengthening the timber sector of the Russian Federation chaired by the President Vladimir Putin in Ulan-Ude last April. The heads of federal departments and regions of Russia presented their proposals on stimulation of the Russian timber sector development.
