The incorruptible relics of St. John are restored in the Holy Virgin Cathedral, also known as Joy of all who Sorrow, a Russian Orthodox cathedral in the Richmond District of San Francisco. It is the largest of the six cathedrals of the Russian Orthodox Church outside Russia. The relics will be fetched to Russia upon the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill.

Oleg Kuvshinnikov and Sergei Voronov discussed readiness of the region for reliable and accident-free passage of snowmelt floods and flood waters.

Over fifty companies from Moscow, Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Samara, Vologda, the Republic of Belarus, Altai Republic, the Kamchatka Peninsula and other cities and regions will display their meat products, milk and dairy products, fruits and vegetables, tea, clothes, knitwear, bags, cosmetics, perfumes and other goods in Vologda.

The festival is named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer, People's artist of Russia who was born in Vologda.

Representatives of the Finnish Association General Finland, PellonGroupOy, a Finnish manufacturer of milk and meat products, and AgriForest that covers the food industry, production services and products of the wood-processing industry will visit the Vologda Region on February 3-4.
