Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov met with Vologda’s school principals, educators and teachers in the school, higher education and specialised professional education systems on the eve of the new school year, the “Day of Knowledge” which Russia celebrates on September 1.

The State Council Presidium meeting held in Yalta, Crimea was devoted to development of Russia’s tourism sector, both domestic and foreign tourism.

Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov and the top leadership of the Interregional Distribution Grid Company of North-West discussed issues related to prospective development of an electric power grid infrastructure of Cherepovets within the implementation of an investment project, issues related to payment discipline of the energy sphere consumers and the region’s electric power grid complex work during the coming autumn/winter season.

A press breakfast was held as part of a series of meetings of Vologda’s journalists with top leadership of the Vologda Oblast Government.

A meeting of the Experts’ Council of the Vologda Oblast Development Corporation took place in the Vologda Oblast Government on August 12th. The participants of the meeting approved of an idea of creating a business park in which many office buildings are grouped together. It will emerge in Vologda in 2020.
