An official visit of Vologda’s experts led by Deputy Governor Alexei Kozhevnikov was arranged at the invitation of the Chinese party. Among the members of the delegation are local government officials and top leadership of major Vologda’s companies.

Every year the International Festival of the Young European Cinema "VOICES" takes place in Vologda. This year the city of Vologda will host the VOICES Festival from July 3th to 6th.

More than 350 applications not only from Russia but also from Germany, Croatia, Poland, France, Finland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Australia and other countries were received in the Vologda Lace Museum during spring months.

The contributions of Cyril and Mefodiy continued to be the invisible bridge connecting all Slavic peoples with bonds of cultural and spiritual affinity.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to the Russian Federation Owen O’Leary has arrived in Vologda today.
