30th anniversary of sister-city relations between Vologda and Kouvola.

Both cities concentrated efforts toward economic, cultural, and educational exchanges in deepening their cooperative relation.
On the occasion of this 30th anniversary the cities would like to look back on the history and outcomes of these many exchanges, to further deepen the cooperation and connection between people in fields such as sports, education, public health care, youth policies, culture and tourism, and to link the endeavors to future growth for both cities.
A delegation from Finland is due to arrive in Vologda to take part in the 2nd International Forum “Social Innovations. League of Young People” scheduled for September 3-5, Vologda.
