Vologda Region increased the volume of investments in fixed assets by 4 billion rubles.

"The volume of investments in fixed assets in the first 3 months of 2024 amounted to almost 32 billion rubles. This is 4 billion more than in the same period last year. The funds were allocated for the purchase of contracts, licenses, marketing assets, land and environmental management facilities," said Georgy Filimonov, Acting Governor of the Vologda Region.

More than half a billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for the restoration of four objects of the Vologda Kremlin.

The Vologda Kremlin, a historical and architectural ensemble, includes twenty architectural objects, nineteen of them are in need of repair and restoration work. The total cost of the work amounts to 4.4 billion rubles.

At SPIEF 2024, Vologda Region signed contracts worth 150 billion rubles.

"Two days of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum were very successful for the Vologda Region. We have signed more than 30 agreements with a total investment of about 150 billion rubles, which is an absolute record for the region's participation in the forum. As a result of the implementation of these projects, at least a thousand new jobs will be created and more than 9 billion rubles of additional tax deductions will be provided to the regional budget annually," noted Georgy Filimonov.
