Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov met with Vologda’s school principals, educators and teachers in the school, higher education and specialised professional education systems on the eve of the new school year, the “Day of Knowledge” which Russia celebrates on September 1.

It took 1000 days and nights to build the Arkhangelsk road bridge in Cherepovets over the Sheksna River. The largest infrastructure project of Cherepovets will open to traffic in August this year.

Autonomous Nonprofit Organization Russia - Land of Opportunity and the Vologda Region Government have signed an agreement on cooperation and collaboration under which the parties have agreed to provide support for projects and initiatives that create opportunities for personal and professional self-realization of young citizens in various fields of activity.
