Employees of PhosAgro-Cherepovets received keys from 90 new flats.

Vologda Oblast Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov arrived in Cherepovets to congratulate PhosAgro’s workers on house-warming.

PhosAgro, one of the world’s leading producers of phosphate-based fertilizers is one of the few companies in Russia which builds houses for its employees, and also works towards improving their social and living conditions. PhosAgro has been implementing programmes to supply housing for employees since 1999. In 1999-2012 Cherepovets’ employees got 1300 flats.

A new apartment building comprising 90 flats was constructed in Cherepovets. The programme is established for a period of 10 years. Under the programme, workers pay 10 percent of the total cost of a flat and during 10 years they make equal monthly payments.

Such housing programmes are considered to be an important element of human resources management at PhosAgro, as it also encourages employees to work for the company.

The company plans to build 430 more flats in Cherepovets up to 2018.
