The Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Vologda Region controlled the shipment of birch chaga to Vietnam. All products passed quarantine phytosanitary control and comply with international quarantine phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov said in an interview with Sputnik China at the Eastern Economic Forum that from January to July 2025, the supply of agricultural products from the Vologda Region to China doubled in comparison with the last year.
Since 2025, the North-Western Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration monitored the supply of 642,000 cubic meters of lumber and sawn timber harvested by Vologda's enterprises to China.
Under the contracts signed, the “Vologda Ice-Cream”, Vologda-based ice cream manufacturer, exports its ice-cream notable for natural taste free from vegetable fats and diversity of flavors to foreign countries.
