The annual sports festival "In the Snows of Kirillov" and the Russian Snowmobile and Snow Bike Enduro Championships will be held on February 28 in the Kirillov District.
From December 31, 2025 to January 11, 2026 the number of people in Kirillov increased significantly. The town with a population of 8,021 people doubled in size. During the winter holidays, about 17,000 guests visited the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Preserve, a major Russian cultural heritage site.
