Control and Analytical Department

Overview

Within its competence, the Department supervises and oversees how the executive powers of the Vologda Oblast, local government departments, state enterprises and institutions perform:

• federal and oblast's legislation concerning the authorities of the Vologda Oblast Governor and the Vologda Oblast Government;
• legal acts issued by the Vologda Oblast Governor and the Vologda Oblast Government, decrees and commissions of the Vologda Oblast Governor and the Vologda Oblast Government;
• RF President's orders given to the Vologda Oblast Governor and executive powers of the Vologda Oblast.

The Department is also responsible for:

• analysis of positive and negative trends in execution of legal acts issued by RF Government and the local government;
• putting forward proposals concerning control and execution of federal laws and oblast's legal acts by the executive powers of the Vologda Oblast, local government departments, state enterprises and institutions;
• preparation of analytical information and reports on the instructions of the Vologda Oblast Governor, proposal of amendments to the laws currently in force.
