Tourism and cultural potential of Vologda Region will be presented in St. Petersburg.

The Days of the Vologda Region in St. Petersburg will be held on August 1-2 in the Peter and Paul Fortress.
"The decision to present the tourist and cultural potential of the Vologda Region in St. Petersburg was supported by Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov. The representative office of the Vologda Region in St. Petersburg is preparing a program for Vologda's Culture and Traditions Festival," said Georgy Filimonov, Vologda Region Governor.
A festival of Vologda Region culture and traditions will be aimed at attracting tourists from St. Petersburg and strengthening cultural and business ties between the two regions. The program includes events with leading tour operators and the St. Petersburg Tourism Development Committee, concerts, a folk crafts fair and a fair of Vologda staple products.
